I love DX derailleurs. They're the same quality as XT imo, plus if you have to buy them off ebay they're much cheaper. I think Shimano Deore DX/XT is the way to go. Affordable yet dependable. I've built 3 bikes now with dx, and one with xt. Now I've got several more derailleurs so I need to find some bikes to put them on.
