tiger send me a pic of the driveside BB cup and I can probably tell you if its Swiss or British.
'83 falls into the purgatory of Peugeot threading. The headset is either French or British and the BB is either Swiss or British. Because it has a tig welded Nitto stem thats more than likely 22.2mm I'm going to say the headsets British. On occasion 22.2 stems have fit into French forks so it could be French.
