Bikes: Vintage Ventura fixie conversion

Just wanted to say Hello!

Hey everyone. I just picked up my first fixie 2 days ago. A couple of my friends have them and told me they are way more fun than multi-speed road bikes, so I found this one on craigslist, and due to our poor planning, we took her home in one of the smallest cars we had to choose from (not to mention another bike the guy gave my friend for free )..well here are the pics

Here's the minicooper that we stuffed ourselves into (I was the lucky one in the back)

I took it out yesterday around town and it is a lot of fun, although I'm still learning how to slow down with my feet as well as skidding. It's a vintage Ventura (japanese?) frame that this guy converted into a fixie with practically brand new parts, since his son rode it only a couple of times. Well hello everyone and I look forward to learning more about these bikes!

EDIT: NEW PICS (new velo seat/monkey lite bars w/ oury grips/ armadillo rear tire)
