Bikes: steyr, lejeune, schwinn, sears, crescent, blah blah blah.

citybikes has some french parts at their main store on 20th, but It might be hard to find a complete bottom bracket. best high performance option is phil wood cups and cartridge but you'll pay for it. check sheldon brown and Harris Cyclery for options from $20 to the above mentioned $150.

I've got an old french bike ("cycles equipe smc" - can't find any info) that I bought for parts for my lejeune. I haven't touched the bottom bracket yet. it's got a three arm cottered crankset, steel of course (what's that they say? steel is real?) but only one french thread pedal. wait, maybe I need it. nevermind. I'll sell you the frame and forks with no bottom bracket for a half rack of miller lite. Its purple and it's your size.

I've actually been looking into replacing my french BB with a new cartridge set up so I can go with a more modern square taper crank set but I'm a little too cheap to do it right now.
