I was thinking of using the brass wire wheel on my dremel and using some naval jelly for what's left. it's kind of an intricate little guide so i doubt i could hand sand it. i'll likely use some rust-inhibiting primer sprayed on. any recommendations on that?

nice thought on the testors! i haven't used that stuff since i was a kid and my dad and i used to "repaint" my bashed up hot wheels. great stuff.
