Why not go with a bar like this one:

As long as the clamp diameters work you won't have to worry about small scratches sliding it into a quill stem.

edit:
plus the aluminum bar is about $200 cheaper.

There's a whole slew of traditional quill stem options that would look nice on that bike:

Removable bar clamps are nice and convenient, but IMHO none of them beat the elegance of a clean quill stem.
