omniums aren't black, and OP doesn't want to buy overpriced cranks. please read.

sram s300 courier cranks are black and use the same outboard gxp bearings as omniums.
they're a good crankset, and can be had (crank + outboard bb + chainring) for $100.
black, shiny, light, stiff, smooth, sealed, durable, hot.

ed: they come with a 48 ring though. dunno if that's a problem. my 5'6" 130 lbs girlfriend blasts around on 48x16, so i really don't wanna hear any whining.
