Ooh I like it. I want to know more. I'd really like to know what these bikes weigh in at (this and the Dawes SST-AL). I don't expect them to be featherweights but I do expect less than my geared bikes (which aren't top dollar race bikes either).

Before I bought my cross bike (a 2007 Norco CCX1 which I got for an absolute steal and love) I almost pulled the trigger on a Dawes SST-AL which looks to have good tire clearance as well and the same rims as this and seemed to be the best value since it had better wheels and good brakes though I would have dumped the top levers for proper hooded levers at additional cost (which was true of most options). Though the rack screws on the seatstays confused me since there where no eyelets on the dropouts (excuse me...track ends).

I may be tempted to get one depending on the price. It's a tough call between this, the Fantom Cross Uno, and the Dawes SST-AL. A Fantom Cross Uno with proper brake levers and a better wheelset would be a clear winner thanks to the higher bottom bracket of a cross bike (pedal strike sucks).

Though I got to be honest a 29er or 650B MTB is really calling to me some times as I begin to find the limits of my Hardrock.
