that makes sense. it would be less expensive to just buy a full bike from bikesdirect or something like that. the merciers are pretty nice and less expensive. just speaking from experience. you will get exactly what you want doing it your way, which is how i did it but also spend more money. so if you are trying to save just get a complete bike and upgrade from there.

p.s. i got a leader 721tr and built it up and it was definitely more than i planned on spending but i dropped a lot on my wheelset
