Update of the High Sierra. The rear derailleur was shot, wobbling at the mounting bolt, sigh. Saddle was shot too, and was a Viscount anyway. I recently put a different saddle on my 990, so the Vetta from that went on. This morning at the flea market I made a decent find just as I was leaving. Hanging from a home made rack were two tires. I tried not to get excited as I made a beeline for them. I get there, and it's a matching set of Continental Goliath semi slicks with brown sidewalls, must be from a few years back, as those are blackwall now I believe? They were in PERFECT condition, and had spent very little time on a bike. Still has the center line on the tread, and the sidewalls are fine. A nice find, as I am ALWAYS tire poor.
