no no no no no.

1) Obtain newspaper
2) Remove insoles
3) Crumple newspaper, 1 sheet at a time
4) Stuff newspaper into shoes
5) Change newspaper after 1 hour, leave overnight. Shoes should be dry.

Plus, you can take the wet newspaper and uncrumple it so you can use it again. I do this at my office, changing the newspaper at lunchtime, and my shoes are dry for the ride home.
