how wet was it?
It was so wet and rainy that I left my shoes and insoles on top of the gas water heater next to the furnace when I got home last night and they still haven't dried out this morning. Well, the insoles have.

Bikes: Surly LHT, 94 Cannondale track bike, 80's Cannondale track bike, 60's Raleigh 5 speed, 1888 Eldridge wood wheel track bike and my old 76 DG BMX from when I was a kid.
This time of year it is hard to keep dry some days no mater what you do.

1) Obtain newspaper
2) Remove insoles
3) Crumple newspaper, 1 sheet at a time
4) Stuff newspaper into shoes
5) Change newspaper after 1 hour, leave overnight. Shoes should be dry.
Plus, you can take the wet newspaper and uncrumple it so you can use it again. I do this at my office, changing the newspaper at lunchtime, and my shoes are dry for the ride home.

The online versions work, but I find it difficult to uncrumple the monitor and re-use it after it dries out.

I am trying the newspaper-in-shoe trick today. I wonder if I need to put a weight on top to make sure the tongue gets dried out too.
