I have occasional problems with wrong-way cyclists, for whom my strategy is generally to take the left half of the bike lane assertively, essentially forcing them to slow way down and to hug the curb. I do the same with joggers if there is a sidewalk available, but I am considerably nicer to joggers who have no sidewalk. If there are parked cars and a door zone, I make damn sure I am not the one there.
