Sounds fair to me, Charles! Hmm, you remind me that I need to install the rear-view mirror on my wife's commuter bike, but I'm not a total cad because I did take her car in for inspection on Saturday (and then cleaned it out, too).

Thanks for the offer, Bob, but given my timeline I think I'm likely going to be buying something new this week or taking my chances with the many BMX offerings on Boston's CL. My son's name is Clay, btw, which is a family name on my wife's side.
