yeah, as long as your frame isn't an integrated headset, which if you are going from threadED to threadLESS, it sure isn't, then you are fine. of course it's not quite as simple as swapping the headset i'm sure you know, it's the headset, fork, and stem. but yes the headtube of the frame is the same regardless.
