I came across this Ciocc frame for sale. The placement of decals seems very strange when compared to any other Ciocc I have seen. There are no tubing stickers. There is a strange Designer 84 decal down near the bottom of the seat tube. I have only seen Ciocc model decals near the front of the top tube. The fork crown is plain which also seems unusual to me. Except for the seat stays, there are no embossings anywhere, not in the lugs, on the bottom bracket, or on the fork crown. Is this just a repaint with random decal placement? Is the fork a replacement? Is this a replica frame? The owner knows nothing about it, got it as partial payment for a small construction job and now he's selling it to get some money. Any comments/opinions? Thanks!
