With all that said, if it was something like a complete bike I'd prefer local pickup. For smaller parts, I'd rather take the package to the shipper on my schedule rather than try to coordinate meeting someone to have them pick it up.

I try to avoid local pick ups because I dont want to deal with someone nit-picking over the bike and then hassling me. Its impossible to make note of every little imperfection in an ebay ad.
