I have done this ride for the past three years (100, 100 and 70) but can't make it this year. I really enjoy the ride and will miss doing it. Speaking of mechanical help, the first time I did it my derailleur cable snapped and I was toughing it out on the hills north to the Gaylordsville rest stop where it was replaced for nothing.
