Is that the broken "axle"? Yikes, I've never seen one break there! Just to get your terminology right, that thing is usually called a "spindle." I'm not nitpicking-- it's just easier to find on ebay if you have the right term! Like this one, which may or may not fit your bike. Or you may find a used one --someone reading this thread probably has one kicking around.
