This is my first post here, so be easy on me, I did 55 mph going downhill, basically pushing wind, for people who know the Toronto area, this was done by me in 1975 on Yonge street, northbound at the downhill before York Mills, a car pulled beside me and a woman hung out the passenger window then told me I was doing 55 mph, rock on and watch out for the cops, this was done on my new CCM Silver Ghost, naturally there was no helmets back then, and all I was worried about is sewer grates, I didn't have a death wish, I just had a vice for speed, I drive my car normally and have never had a speeding ticket, but I do have a KTM 525 EXC-R dirt bike to get my ya ya's out, I still have the Silver Ghost which is in excellent condition, after doing some reading on this site, I am now inspired to dig it out and get it going again.
