from the GWB, jersey side, the trip was 18 miles each way, 1 hour 10 minutes each way. that means we averaged under 18 mph. it sure didn't feel that slow. i've done that trip plenty on the road bike, plenty faster, and this was plenty tougher. i can still feel it in my legs.

i don't think the lack of a brake made too much of a diff. akky only used his brake once, and only two or three times did i get nervous. but if we do bear mountain in the future, my brake will be on!

so the next ride looks to be next weekend (the weekend after monster track), sat or sun, depending on the weather or what youse guys think. akky? bueller? anyone?
