Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Sounds kind of intimidating to me!
Definitely will have to put my front brake back on if I go though, but 10am is good if it's Saturday.
See ya!

anyway, i got a few messengers to commit to this weekend and alex and brad from trackstar said they are going. so i'd like to keep it real with the fixies.

how is 10 am at the starbucks on first ave and 60th? rain or shine. if we get enough people, i think we can either split into two groups or do something else to try to encourage people who feel they'd be slowing others down.
