One time my powertap locked up and wouldn't download - the cpu said "host" but Cyclingpeaks said no device was recognized. I finally decided to remove the battery in the CPU and reinstall it. When I DL'd my PT today, yesterday's ride data was on there. Last night when I removed and reinstalled the battery the screen displayed zeros for all the values. I assumed that since the CPU had zeros for every value that there was no data. But in fact yesterday's data was still there.
Thank you for your post. It gave me the courage to remove and reinstall the battery to unfreeze the CPU.
