Ride to Conquer Cancer- Vancouver to Seattle done. 265 Kilometres (164 miles) over 2 days. Total ride time of 9:33 Weather was good on day one, rain and cold on day 2 though it got better later in the day. Organization was great. The route in Washington state was great, lots of riding along water, beautiful greenery, at least some that I could see when I looked up from the wheel of the person in front of me.

The last half or so of the ride to University of Washington was along a bike path, quite something. There was a stretch towards the end where a running race was taking place, so there was a bit of dodging runners and cyclists coming the other way, but all good. I had a flat at 85K on second day, and so did two of the riders I was with, so that was the only little hiccup, but no big deal.

$6.9 Million was raised. 1700+ participants. I already signed up for next year.
