Yeah, even if you win the next one, and people went back looking for your name to see where the hell you came from, seeing a 10th place wouldn't even get a shrug: you'd still look like you came out of nowhere. Anything out of the points I didn't care about (when I cared about points).
Certainly, as a Cat 5, getting 10th is still "something," and it's good for you to be proud of that. Everyone behind you would have finished in front of you, but they couldn't. As mentioned above, nobody else cares though.
