My mistake - it's on the race, not the cone. Damage done. It's just a slight indentation - looks like a bearing wore a grove in it in this one spot. Like I said, it's about three bearings long.

Even though no one wanted to give me a seal of approval, I decided to take in on my tour anyway. You only live once!
