I don't understand why anyone cares about a "group" anyway. Just mix and match. The most important part is the shifters... get whichever you like the best for feel and function. Even if you like Campy, get Shimano/Sram compatible wheels (better dish and more options). Get a chain that works with the cassette. The Campy cranks are ok... the others suck or are ugly... so go aftermarket. Pick a nice looking and functioning R-der... DA 7700 or various Campy models. Get a JTek if necessary to make the shifting work.
Liking my Campy shifters, FD, and calipers (though wish I'd gotten TRP calipers instead)... DA 7700 RD, IRD carbon cranks, Ultegra pedals, custom White Industries Kinlin wheels, Pedal Force ZX3... all polished bright silver and carbon weave... light and cheap.
