Solid 1963 Schwinn Sierra 15-speed (yes 15-speed!) Schwinn's version of a touring bike, with an interesting mix of French and American parts (all original) 23inch frame in Flamboyant Lime green, 33 inch standover height (better be 6ft. tall or close to it for this bike) Huret downtube shifters, Huret front and rear derailleurs, Huret triple chainring up front, swapped out the original AVA "death stem" for a period correct GB unit (still have the AVA) French-made alloy bars, also swapped rear derailleur for a smoother shifting Suntour unit but i do have the original Huret der. sweet chrome fenders, original leather Lycett saddle (owned by Brooks in the 60's). The Schwinn Sierra was only made in 1963 and 1964 bike was torn apart, cleaned, lubed and tuned. Fresh tires and tubes installed with new rim strips, just needs some bar tape to complete. $120 OBO. Thanks for looking, Erik. (the following link is to a picture of the 1963 catalog showing the bike)
