I had mondo pros (stock on an Allez elite) and they were fine. Well fine being relative. Only 2 flats in 1300 miles. Plenty of grip making 40mph + decents or riding in light rain. They did seem to have a fair number of knicks and cuts in them, so I traded them out for some GP4000s. I plan on using what's left of the Mondos as trainer/roller tires this winter.

Would I pay the $60 Specialized wants per tire? Nah.
