I know I always look for that "Designed With Extra Room for Your Balls" tag when I buy shorts.

I have shorts I like, and bibs I like. I also have shorts and bibs I don't really care for. My favorites in both categories are my favorites because of the pad (style, size, thickness, location), not because they are shorts or bibs. For bibs, I do like the fact that I can wear a normal Dri-Wick tank top or T-shirt and not have to worry about showing crack, but I also have some shorts (PI) that are much higher in the back and they eliminate that issue as well.
