Marathon Supremes. I had to swallow pretty hard to lay out the cash for these. I have pluses on another bike. The pluses are as advertised -- durable, very puncture resistant and heavy. They feel leaden and the weight is noticed. They're on a fixie that gets lots of city miles. The supremes are on a tourer. The profile is quite round, making them predictable in sharp cornering. Tread is great. They're lively feeling, spin up fast and remarkably tough and puncture resistant. In short, when/if I can wear these out, I'll gladly spring for a new set. But I'll still wonder why I spend more for bike tires than for the booties on the automobile.
