Fastest I've gone with my speedometer on was 34 I think, down a really long dirt hill that left me half dead on the way up. Good thing is, you don't have to pedal much for 2 miles on the way down :/

In town, there's a ********ly steep paved hill, I've probably hit close to 40 on that.. No point staying on the side of the road if you go as fast as the cars down it, heh.
Were your eyes watering because of the wind? Mine do when I go not even that fast, I have to squint really hard and blink a lot to see.
