turtlewoman, nice bike. I see it has the original bars and brake levers. I'd love to find some of both of those. Those Mafac brake levers with the plastic covers are one of my favorites. And those bars are wonderful.

You'll do fine. Read some articles about cycling in traffic. Some things are counter-intuitive. For example, ride out in traffic, and don't slink away along the very outer edge of the roadway.
