I'm doing a slow and thoughtful search for a replacement commuter bike while mourning the passing of my 1983 Raleigh Grand Prix, fallen victim to a snapped top tube.

Is anyone out there riding a Jamis? I tried their steel frame touring Aurora and it felt like I had warp-drives. Their Nova-Pro cross bike felt mighty nice, too.
