I had the exact same problem. The electrical tape is a great solution. My problem came about when I got my new bike and the aero seatpost (Cervelo S1) left a lot more of the hook part of the attachment exposed. I also have a nice little fuzzy spot on the one leg of my one pair of bibs. I solved it with a Fizik saddle bag that clips into my Arione saddle, no straps, works for me.
