And here's a good quote, about their "mountain bikish bike" (gawd):
The All American urban youth culture has matured and gone from back alley to high street. Biomega Street is the Scandinavian take on US-style bad boy culture. These Street bikes will take any grind & curb stones the city asphalt has to
Sweet they got their dorm room buddy who majored in marketing to write the copy! So hip and witty.
Actually, having some friends who are Danish and spent time in Denmark, I'm going to have to say that this is probably a Dane's attempt at US Advertising Hyperbole. Last year, in Copenhagen, Carlsberg beer, the national beer, put up a huge banner in the main square that proclaimed, in English, but for Danes:
'Carlsberg. Probably the best beer in town!'
I think the above quote would definitely NOT fly in a Danish domestic market. They just think Americans are loud, arrogant and garrishly braggardly, especially in our advertising. They're right, and unfortunately, they also aspire to have such swagger.
