I've been looking for saddle covers too! I remember having covers with the saddle brand names on them, back in the 80's, made of lycra with a very thin rubbery vinyl material coating (that's makes it waterproof) on it that had the saddle brand name like "San Marco" or "Selle Italia" imprinted on it. Like you said, they were all over the place in almost all bike shops with all kinds of designs to choose from. Now they seem to be as rare as hen's teeth!. I would like to find a white San Marco labled cover again to protect my new Concor Supercorsa saddle on my recently ressurected PSV. Anyone know where to find them these days?? I have not found any present equivalent so far.
