I got my new commuter finally done....except for some extras I want to get now, like a carradice bag. It's a '72 Schwinn Super Sport that I liberated from an elderly friends basement where it had been living for the past 36 years. I stripped it down, cleaned it up, added moustache bars, a Brooks saddle and just one gear. It's a really nice riding single speed, and I'm going to use it as my around town bike. First train/bike commute on it tomorrow. Here are some before and after pics.

















Now I want to find a vintage lighting set to complete it.
