so a few weeks ago, i told you all how i asked about two trek road bikes sitting in a church parking lot and the manager of the place said i could have them for free. well, after a few weeks, here they are:

an early 80's trek 560 pro series road bike, with suntour cyclone m2 drivetrain, matrix 700c wheels and sr crankset. a little bit of cleaning it up and new tubes, its quite a nice ride.
then there was this one, a 87'ish 560 pro series road bike with shimano 105 everyhting and bio pace chainrings. very nice, but i am unsure about biopace. just knowing that they are not round, yet eventhough they give me no reason to not like them, in a performance view.
not bad at all for free, save the cost of two tubes and four new tires down the road to make me feel better about the tread on these tires. the lbs that i showed the too were all so eager to talk me into a new set of tires for both. now since i mainly ride old beach cruisers, im probably gonna flip at least the turquois lookin trek 560 and maybe keep the black. any closer guesses to the actual year of manu****uring of these two 560 proseries treks would be nice to know. the first on who wants to pay $100 plus shipping from 96097, its theirs.
