It's comfy, pretty well ventilated, and I like the feel of something solid wrapping my head (as opposed to an amazing feat of ventilated architecture spread out to catch the breeze). Whatever works for you, as long as you wear one.

I got one of these too. The zip-mold model. Definitely an improvement on the Pro-tec. Very well constructed and I like the visor. I don't find it too warm and I live in the tropics.

. I got mine at Sierra trading post for only $42 shipped.
When I ordered it I thought the visor would look awesome, but when I tried it on, it actually partially blocks my view when I bike, so I took it off and guess what? It even looks better, IMO.
