Hi there

okay so i wanna buy a bike. thing is. i cant really decide. my needs : this summer ill be mostly using my bike to go get to one place another. but somtimes id like to go offroad and jump.

now. i was sugested a bike for me and it seems pretty good i guess, its placed in "urban" category, its light weight aluminium with a little suspension in from and one on the seat. now. heres the link

i was talking with a friend about it, and he told me that hybrid (and im guessing urban is part of that category) is the worst bike you can get because 1. you cant go fast because of the way its shaped and your body position and 2. you cant off road because the suspension isnt good enough....

so im lost, what should i get. i had another sugestion to get this one

wich is more of a mountain bike. but the thing is, i feel that it wont be good for long distance travelling...

so im really lost and i need somone to clear things out
