True. And I know the cable pull wouldn't be right for, say, 9 speed ultegra or something like that.

I guess I could go to barends and road levers. Maybe I'll just leave the riser bar. I like it, and I'm new to cross racing so I'm going to suck all year anyway, drop bars or nay.
