Heck, on any bike parts at that?
If so, if you had the choice, would you want a stock bike or a custom build bike of all parts of your choice?
I don’t know any bike shop mechanic who rides a stock bike.
From the way I understand it if you work at a bike shop, maybe its only bigger shops, you get one really good deal a year. This deal is something like right above manufactures cost. So you can either get a really good deal on a complete and maybe switch out some parts. You can get a good deal on just a frame, but then you would have to buy parts for a bit more. It is really looked down upon to buy a bike then strip the parts off so most people will not do this.
