Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

if you truly and honestly believe this, would you still live here (US)?

also, a. those are just selling regulations, and b. most of the bikes here if they are "track" bikes were never designed to be ridden 'legally' on the streets. That is why yes they do not meet even half of those requirements and regulations.

that is all just consumer safety bull****, because some moron will buy a brakeless bike, plow down a hill then kill somebody and say, "oh well it didn't come with brakes i thought i didn't need any", because yes they are some very incompetent people out there.
