I simply said that if a thief has the ability to break the strongest U lock you have on your bike, it isn't going to be any trouble for him to break the other lock you've used to lock up as well. Nobody hack saws a U lock, if they have a bottle jack or an angle grinder to break one of your locks, they can just as easily break six of your locks as well.
