Life is too short to drink anything other than French or Danish beer.
Oh dear, oh dear. My poor chap, you really have no clue about beer, do you?
Real beer is not fizzy. Nor is it infused with chemical inhibitors to keep it alive longer. Beer is a living product and nowhere knows how to make it better than England.
My favourite is a beer called Black Sheep from a small village in Yorkshire, in the North of England. It wins all sorts of awards and is regarded by followers such as me as the best beer in the world. It is earthy, mid-brown in colour, and has amazing flavour and refreshing qualities. The best you can hope for is the bottled version, which is nothing close to being as special as the draught stuff but it still beats the hell out of everything from the Continent.
