You have no reason to stake yourself into the pavement other than to be an *******.
Or the fact that if there's any decent amount of traffic it will be nearly impossible to safely rejoin the flow of traffic.... of course, if you don't mind waiting around at the corner for the next 'Walk' signal, then feel free, nobody is stopping you. But insulting others because they don't is pretty ridiculous.

You weren't there, you don't know what street it is, nor if there are parked cars near the intersection, if the lanes are narrow or wide (There's a few roads I ride on with 40+ foot lanes, talk about a wide outside lane!!!)

There are also streets I have to go on occasionally where there is room/time for ONE vehicle to turn per green light! (And if that vehicle is a bus, they wait for the light to turn red, THEN turn against the light)

There's no WAY I'm moving over to let a bus try to squeeze by me... they're dangerous enough when they're not trying a bone-head maneuver like that.

For the most part the city bus drivers around here are MUCH more professional than that. I'm always on edge around school buses, though!
