Watching the entertaining Discovery Channel reality TV series Everest: Beyond the Limit gave me a brainstorm (such as it is, this is BF). I'll offer Mt. Doom Velo Expeditions with the hope of getting some of you losers to the summit. Now to get to the top of Mt. Everest costs $40-$50K per person, plus airfare, plus a couple of months of your time. I'll give you the chance to summit Mt. Doom for only $2K per person, and I'll throw in a delicious post-ride feast at Wendy's. You can do it on a Sunday and be back home the same night.

There are no guarantees of course. Many Freds have met their fate on the slopes of the Col du Doom. But it's a personal challenge I'm more than willing to help some of you experience.
