You already have a profession associated closely enough with engineering, the requisite paunch (though you might want to add a few lbs), and an interest in gizmos that most Road Nazis wouldn't be caught dead with but which 'bent riders will find cool like your bubble indicator. I might add a disproportionate number of 'bent riders strongly prefer Macs. You'll fit right in.
