+1 In 1986, Trek was putting Aerolevers on some of their models. And they were not putting turkey levers on any of their bikes. So the Aerolevers I installed are more period correct in my case than the levers I removed, as they were shoddy aftermarket levers.

I rode two of my turkey lever bikes (flips) today. And I have to admit, for recreational riding, they are pretty handy. For longer riding, I prefer the more comfortable hoods on aero levers.
